Life at Augustine

Engaging the mind. Forming the heart. Guiding the will.

What it's like to go to a Hybrid School?

At TAA, we value time together! This means one or two (depending on the grade) full days of instruction at home led by a parent “co-teacher.” Classroom teachers provide structured lessons, with several subjects spanning multiple grade-levels so siblings can learn together. Families use the additional time provided to pursue extracurricular activities, service, or time with extended family. All this, while maintaining the advantages of a standard classroom throughout the week.

Hear From The Parents

The Augustine Difference

At Augustine we believe that education is primarily about forming the next generation—providing them with tools to flourish emotionally, intellectually, professionally, and relationally. So, at TAA, we seek to lay the foundation of goodness, Truth, and beauty for our students and families, so we can rightly relate with God, self, and others. We work to set a warm, engaging atmosphere where students are known and attention is cultivated toward rightly knowing, loving, and serving.

Our Outings and Events

We host a variety of events for students, families, and the broader community. Fundamental to our model is a monthly “outing” with families, where siblings are invited to join in activities such as ice skating, musical concerts, maple-syrup tapping, sheep-shearing, and more. We also host beautiful choral concerts, an annual puppet show, and a community-wide Shakespeare festival. Community is integral to our identity at TAA.
